I was raised on a farm near West Point , Nebraska and attended college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

I was married August 19, 2006 to my wife Angie( Schwarte) from Sioux City , Iowa. We have a daughter, Emily, born January 20, 2008. We are members of St. Michael's Catholic Church. I joined the Knights of Columbus in 2001 and am a 3rd Degree member. I began as a Field Agent with the Knights in March of 2008.
